The climate crisis is impacting the world’s most vulnerable people and climate action needs to be implemented without delay. Programme

Climate change-related discussions in the water sector often focus on water quantity, while the issues of pollution, waste and consequently water quality move to the background. Cities face elevated risks if sufficient water for different uses and ecosystems is no longer available at sufficient quality. This session zooms in on water resource management and protection in cities.

We will hear from resilience experts from the continent on how the climate resilience agenda should be learning from, collaborating with and supporting communities for improved and increased resilience in Africa. This is particularly necessary given the additional burden of climate change impacts on a continent already facing the repercussions of long-standing structural injustice.

This session will explore different mechanisms to help bridge these gaps and support companies to enter the sector and grow. REGISTER NOW!
